at work today julie was looking through some trashy interior design book and there were a couple of pictures of little kid rooms with really high up shelves full of toys. she pointed out how awful it was and i said something to the effect of "no, its good. better get used to everything you want being out of reach, kid. it'll be helpful later on in life." julie looked at me (if you know julie you know exactly the funny look she gave me) and said something to the effect of "yeah, ok. i think its time for you to get out of your parents house." she was right. |
